How it works

How Rebook turns missed bookings into appointments

Four steps, running quietly in the background: spot the gap, send the text, let the client book, see the outcome.

Gap

Step 1

Spots the gap

Compares each client's usual rebooking pattern against how long it's actually been, and flags no-shows, quiet regulars and cold enquiries.

Hi Mel — it’s been a while since your last colour. Sofia has spots next week if you’d like to come back in.

Step 2

Sends the text

An AI-personalised SMS goes out in the business's own voice, naming the client and their usual service, not a generic blast.

Step 3

Client books

The client replies and Rebook handles the back and forth on timing to get them into an appointment.

Step 4

You see the outcome

Every conversation lands in one of four states: booked, paid, waiting on a reply, or needs you.

Consent and boundaries are built in, not bolted on

Rebook enforces STOP requests, quiet hours, and consent in the messaging pipeline itself, so this is not something an owner has to configure or remember. ACMA’s 2024-25 telecommunications report found 96% of Australian adults used text messaging in the six months to June 2025, which is part of why SMS is the channel Rebook uses rather than email or an app notification nobody opens.

Runs alongside your booking system

Rebook is not a booking system replacement. It runs alongside whatever a business already uses to take bookings, reading appointment history to find gaps and sending follow-up SMS to close them. Client data can be brought across by CSV or calendar export, and stays the business’s own.

Frequently asked questions

Does Rebook message every client automatically?

Only clients who match a gap against their own booking pattern, such as a no-show or a client overdue against their usual rebooking interval. It is not a blanket broadcast to the whole client list.

Can staff see the conversation?

Yes. Every SMS exchange is visible to the owner or staff, and any conversation that needs a person's judgement, rather than a straightforward booking, is flagged as needing you.

What if a client texts STOP?

STOP is honoured immediately and permanently for that client. This is enforced in the messaging pipeline itself, not left to manual follow-up.

Does Rebook text late at night?

No. Messages respect quiet hours, so clients are not contacted early in the morning or late at night regardless of when Rebook identifies the gap.
